This is the graduation song lyrics of my junior high school Alma Mater, Negros Oriental High School.

As we gather here in this final day of ours
There's  a feeling of so much joy within our hearts
That after the journey of a thousand miles
We're standing here, with a sense of pride

To our parents and mentors, in gratitude we come
The knowledge and strength you imparted us
Would become a treasure that no one could steal
